I returned to the Bocca Medicea restaurant after more than a year and I must say that the experience was truly pleasant. I found a welcoming and renovated environment, with extremely competent and friendly staff. In particular, Alessandro confirmed himself as a fantastic host: professional, attentive and precise in recommending dishes, always ready to respond to every request with a smile. The quality of the food has remained excellent, with dishes with attention to detail and flavors that conquer at first taste. It is always a pleasure to return to a place where every aspect, from the cuisine to the service, is cared for with passion and dedication. I highly recommend it!

29/04/2025: I give 3 stars because on Sunday in Piazza Vittorio we purchased 4 spreadable creams, 2 with pistachio and 2 with hazelnut (it's not the first time we've bought them and they are very good).... except that one with pistachio was already open and almost half full... we only noticed it tonight unfortunately (probably it was the one for the public tasting anyway). We were very sorry, anyone can make mistakes, except that we "threw away" 14 euros.

24/08/2024: Great location for hiking, great food, fantastic hostess.
15/08/2024: We had a lovely coffee and cake here before. After reading the other reviews we were curious about lunch. We didn't get a menu and trusted our host. The primi was gone, but there was still antipasti and secondi. Fine. Unfortunately it was unclear that we got 5 antipasti (after 3 we were already full and then it kept coming) and when we paid we were surprised that we had to pay 50 euros for 3 people. We also thought it was a shame that we didn't know what we could choose from, the vegetarian didn't really have a choice and the last dishes (a kind of cabbage with cheese) were not for us tourists. A beautiful location but unfortunately the 2nd experience with il truc was a lot less.
