Historic restaurant with exceptional quality fresh fish cuisine. Among the exquisite dishes I recommend the seafood carbonara, mouth-watering. Andrea and his staff will know how to pamper you and at the end of the meal, don't forget to ask for the real Elba aleatico in the wicker bottle.

A bar that prepares fish to eat. Without great pretensions but cooked well. You have to book well in advance because the locals are fixed there and you never find a table. Fresh food, good service, excellent bill. The only flaw is the lack of a menu with pieces. Owner who takes orders verbally tells the dishes that are not good. We need menus displayed outside the door with prices and menus inside for customers at the table.

From the outside it can be off-putting but take the trouble to go inside because it is very good, very fresh. No menu but daily specials. At lunchtime we had squid ink risotto. Fresh tagliatelle with sage and delicious Tuscan cheese 🧀. We had a blast. The server was pleasant. We had a great time. It was very good and not expensive.

Place outside the tourist circuit where you can eat quality food at fair prices. Excellent service. Tagliolini with whitebait to try. Wonderful anchovies.

Questo ristorante mi è piaciuto così tanto che ormai l'ho adottato per ogni mia uscita. Basta mettersi nelle mani di Andrea, il proprietario, e senz'altro ci alzeremo dal tavolo pienamente soddisfatti. Inoltre il prezzo aumenterà la nostra soddisfazione.

01/01/2025: Ate here for New Year's Eve. Everyone was super friendly despite the language barrier. We'll be back.
20/10/2024: Cosy restaurant in a nice family guesthouse. To begin with we were served tasty olive oil and fresh home made bread. As a starter traditional extra-thick tomato soup (pappa al pomodoro). Main dishes: cuttlefish risotto and potato gnocchi with pecorino cheese and truffle. All the meals were super tasty and the service was very kind and quick. Don’t miss their delicious home-made tiramisu! ❤️

Hotel Hermitage Ristorante

07/11/2024: Food was good as they catered for my husband's vegan, gluten free diet. Service was friendly. Rooms nice and clean but felt the website was not honest in not saying that there was a charge to use the spa. Even on their sister hotel that does not have a spa it says you can use the their spa hence we chose this one for the spa. Other hotels that do charge for the spa always allow you to use it for free once you have a massage there. Despite my husband and I paying €240 for a massage, they still wanted us to pay a further €100 to use the spa for one hour only.
06/10/2024: Wündeschen place. Food sensational. Service 5 stars +
