I’m very grateful to the woman that we met there in the bar, she was very kind to us, and coffee with the chocolate cake was very tasty! 🥰

Bar la Cascata an excellent bar is located in Nesso halfway between Como and Bellagio the snacks are simple but excellent at a good price served on a nice terrace overlooking the Orrido and the lake the place is clean family run by the friendly Roberto and Ombretta

Excellent staff, very helpful, beautiful view of the ravine and lake, knowledge of the English language, I recommend anyone passing by Nesso to go for a snack or an aperitif, excellent quality and prices

I was in Nesso in September and it was my favourite place to go for morning breakfast. The owners are so warm and welcoming and by the last day they knew our order off by heart. Definitely the best cafe in Nesso. Minimarket is nice too. I would definitely go back here again next time though.

We were greeted by the owners as soon as we stepped in with a big smile. We ate yummy focaccia and pizza accompanied by some tasty limoncello spritz. The treatment was like in a grand hotel. The best part was the service, we had a very nice conversation. Thoroughly recommend!

20/03/2025: Its fame precedes it but I assure you that this is one of the best restaurants in Como, typical Como cuisine with few dishes but well done, they have very few seats so you have to book weeks in advance, the location is very rustic and typical really very welcoming. We received a very welcome prosecco, the staff is uniquely kind. I would like to return to try other dishes and I certainly will.
16/03/2025: Prima volta per noi dopo tante raccomandazioni ma visto il locale piccolo non siamo mai riusciti a trovare un posto libero! Oggi finalmente abbiamo potuto provare la vera cucina tipica Lombarda! Tutto squisito! Locale suggestivo, pulito, personale gentilissimo e tantissimi piatti da leccarsi i baffi! Servizio ottimo tant'è che abbiamo già prenotato per la prossima domenica così da assaggiare tutte le loro specialità!

21/03/2025: Intimate and welcoming location. Helpful and courteous staff, fast and professional service. Various menu proposals to please all palates: fish, meat and vegetarian. I highly recommend it!
21/03/2025: Yesterday I attended my father's company retirement dinner at this place unknown to me. I admit that I found the food to be above my expectations, the appetizer and main course were anonymous, but without any major flaws, while the risotto was well-balanced and tasty. Nice place, convivial atmosphere perfect for dinner with friends and in a group. Very poor service, staff not very attentive to details, many off notes.
