My friend and I were in Rome for a weekend (November 2024). We asked where to get a proper maritozzo—I'm obsessed! They told me, "Go to Maritozzaro," and we ended up in this paradise. Bottom line: we're returning in July with our respective husbands, a quick two-day visit to Rome, which is always magical, between St. Peter's Square and the Colosseum. You're the only place we can't help but be a must-see. Every time we get the chance to return, you'll always be a must-visit! Try it!

Coming to Rome and not trying maritozzo can mean two things: either you'll return or you're diabetic. The flavor of the cream and the brioche dough melts pleasantly under your palate. Recommended.

The cream in this maritozzo is the best I've had so far, and the pasta comes in second place. It's a shame there aren't many seats outside; it almost feels abandoned. The prices are low; as a Milanese, they almost make me laugh! It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Historic bar, famous for its maritozzi filled with cream. The place is small but has a few tables outside (no table service). Perfect for a delicious breakfast.

I had my first maritozzo here and I highly recommend it. The brioche is excellent and the cream is mouth-watering. The prices are great, don't miss it!

Quando mi trovo a passare da queste parti, approfitto spesso a fermarmi in questo locale per i suoi maritozzi fenomenali! Gustosi, enormi e buonissimi sia nell’impasto che nella panna, non si può fare a meno di assaggiarli.
