Small pastry shop, you can have a coffee with a maritozzo-sweet bun filled with cream. You can only sit at a table outside, there is a road nearby, which is not very convenient. But it’s also good to have breakfast at the counter)

A perfect spot for a morning Italian breakfast full of pastries, cornettos and coffee. Highly recommended if you are around to try it out.

Siamo stati in questo bar tipico e storico che tra l'altro era molto vicino a dove pernottavamo durante la nostra settimana a Roma. Molto conosciuto anche dai romani stessi per i suoi maritozzi, abbiamo deciso di testarlo. All'esterno ci sono due o tre tavolini dove poter consumare la colazione o qualsiasi altra cosa; all'interno appena entrati si può vedere il bancone con tutte le prelibatezze e i dolci dai cornetti vari ai maritozzi e altre paste. è stato bellissimo vedere come vengono fatti i maritozzi proprio perché il signore che era dietro il bancone li stava preparando. Noi abbiamo preso un cappuccino e un caffè e un maritozzo a metà perché effettivamente era veramente grande per una sola persona. Per la colazione abbiamo speso entro i 10€, potrebbe essere 7€. Locale storico che fa angolo; se non lo avete mai visto ne sentito parlare andateci perché è veramente un tesoro nascosto.
