Praising the maritozzo would be an understatement. For years, the taste has never disappointed! I suggest trying the "PANGOCCIOLI"...but be careful, they can be addictive!

A historic place, reminiscent of a Rome of times gone by. Well-stocked, still reasonably priced, and a wide selection of sweets and pastries. The Maritozzo is top-notch, needless to say, but I'd say the cream/chocolate bomboloni are truly beyond reproach—super-filled and perfectly fried, never greasy!

The whipped cream bun was very good, but we also took an interesting-looking pink cream bun, which had a chemical aftertaste and was unfortunately unappetizing.

I came all the way from the Netherlands to try Maritozzaro's DELICIOUS maritozzo. The owner made two freshly made maritozzi for me and my son. It was an exceptional experience! Highly recommended.

04/03/2026: We went there every morning during our stay in Rome. Everything was delicious, the setting was charming, and we were always warmly welcomed and seated.
02/02/2026: Real rating 4.4: A place for a quick lunch with tramezzini, jumbo toast (excellent), very unique sandwiches, paninis, bagels, and veggie burgers (very good), all freshly made, so they're piping hot. The service is very good. The atmosphere is familiar, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of tables for two or four people. Prices are below average. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: I celebrated my birthday and we all had a great time. Excellent bruschetta and other dishes. Highly recommended the tiramisu. Excellent value. The owner and waiters were very kind.
27/12/2025: If you want to try not one, not two, but many different and creative bruschettas, here you can find a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, classic, and specialty bruschettas. All accompanied by a wide selection of beers. The service is adequate and the staff are friendly.
