Super nice place to run next to the port

If you are visiting Capri, make sure to stop by and see Carlo and the family at Il Gabbiano in the Marina Grande, Capri. the food is terrific, the drinks fantastic, but Carlo makes all the difference in the world. Located behind the area where departing ferries dock, there is a lot going on and if you are looking for your luggage and trying to understand how the ferry lines work, Carlo and Il Gabbiano make everything slow down for you! Carlo is the best ambassador Capri could have. He is quick to make you feel at ease, explain what is going on amidst the chaos, and make sure you are well taken care of. We had plenty of time to enjoy and bite, have some drinks, and make our ferry. I only wish we have food Il Gabbiano before we left, we would have been able to spend more time at the restaurant! Thanks again Carlo and family!

Very tastefull and fast service. It's one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. If you are looking for a local good restaurant I recommend it a lot. You can even choose the kind of pasta with a specific combination of sauce and very good drinks for a fair price.

The food was amazing, we had a lasagna, meatballs and a caesar salad, they were all great and had very generous servings. The waiter and the owner of the establishment were both really kind and friendly. We sat at the port and the view was amazing, the prices are also really good compared to other restaurants in the zone. Overall it was a very pleasant time and i can really recommend this place :-)

Locale sul porto molto comodo e accogliente. Cucina buonissima e veloce dal piatto caldo al panino. Ottima la crepe al salmone e il risotto! Eravamo lì col nostro bambino di sette mesi e tutti sono stati molto disponibili. Personale super, veramente un punto di riferimento.

Ebédeltünk egy hajó túra után, de sajnos csalódtunk... Gyanús volt a rendkívül gyors kiszolgálás... Gnocchi Sorrentinát kértünk, ami mirelitt gnocchi volt egy kis szósszal nagyon gyenge minőséggel. Frutti di mare linguie tésztával életem legrosszabb tésztája volt, pár perc alatt kész összedobva, nem al dente hanem kemény tésztával, semmi alapizzel. Pinsa volt amit még kértünk, vastag, szinte hideg tészta olcsó feltét... Sajnos a tömegturizmus tipikus tulajdonságai
