02/03/2025: We chose the Locanda del Povero Enzo for a dinner with friends, and from the first moment we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The service was impeccable: attentive, kind staff ready to tell the story and philosophy of the cuisine, making the experience even more engaging.
We started with an appetizer experience, i.e. six courses chosen by the chef, which allowed us to explore a mix of surprising and well-balanced flavours. Each dish spoke of the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation, making the start of dinner a true gastronomic journey.
For the first courses, we opted for two dishes that left us speechless: Pappardelle made with Senatore Cappelli flour and pumpkin fibre, served with two different fillings, one with porcini mushrooms and the other with white truffle. The combination was perfect, with an authentic-tasting pastry and a creamy, enveloping filling. The second first course, the Maccabuoni “Sazizza e Fungi”, was an explosion of flavours, with a perfect balance between the flavor of the sausage and the intensity of the mushrooms.
What made the evening even more special was the narration of the owner, who passionately told us the story of poor Enzo, adding a touch of authenticity and tradition to the experience.
In summary: excellent cuisine, quality ingredients, impeccable service and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. All with a truly convenient quality-price ratio. Highly recommended!
