The food was good, nothing exceptional, but good. I don't think it's fair to pay the cover charge without being served bread... they served me piadina slices... which I didn't ask for, but I paid €2.

Frenk is a must-see if you're in Riccione

Beachfront restaurant, then garden with plastic chairs, then plastic awning with overhead lighting due to the midges on the tables. Dinner for two. Three tables that arrived after us were served before us. Obviously regulars...! When the first course arrived, we had a 15-minute wait for the second course...! Same situation for the second course. Fantastic food, truly deserved. Fresh fish. Compliments to the chef. Location is terrible, waiters...! With all the good will they put into it, they do a different job. Really poor management for the amount of people who frequent it. Mr. Frenk is a character, from another era. Good prices. They offered us homemade liqueurs at the end of the meal, I think. Too bad the bottles were already opened and half-filled...! If you don't pay attention to detail but only to the food, I recommend it. But if you want a romantic evening by the sea, look elsewhere. Huge potential, but everything is stuck in the past maybe 20 years.

They found us a table even though we hadn't booked, but it was a bit small and dark. The waiters were friendly, but the service could use some work...the starters arrived during the appetizers, so we had to eat them cold. The food was fresh and high-quality. Generous portions. The price was reasonable.
