Bar Ferri In Bologna

The only bar in the center open very early in the morning, excellent breakfast and super friendly staff

As Americans wandering around the food market, we wandered into Bar Ferri. What an amazing find. The proprietor was kind and explained local dishes to us. It was like a small food tour as in his shop, we tried local Lambrusco, crescentima, pesche con alchermes, and aricini (admittedly not a local food, but still delightful). Highly recommend as a place to try foods at a reasonable cost. Very limited seating. We stood at the bar.

Place for locals: definitley go here if you want to see something real. Great food and friendly atmosphere! Very few seats inside, but worth it!
