Very cozy café in the heart of Prati

This restaurant in the Prati area offers a generous breakfast, including freshly filled croissants that are highly recommended. The espresso is a classic Italian flavor, with plenty of robusta, full-bodied, and rich in cream. The deli selection is also extensive, with fairly good daily specials. The restaurant is contemporary and well-decorated. Access to the restroom is inconvenient, as you have to go down several steps. Table service is good.

It was a great café that is reviving its tradition of excellence, thanks in part to the mettle of its longtime waiters at the counter and the new manager Luigi. There's only one waiter at the tables, not trained but speaking many languages, capable of serving guests both inside and out, a bit overworked. The cashiers are generally friendly. The pastries are very good again; I recommend the wonderful Cipriani cake for those who aren't familiar with it, or having them prepared for them. The morning pastries are usually good, almost always fresh. Fried sweet bombettes and the famous Parisian pastries are among many other specialties. In the summer, you can enjoy the sun. It's not the cheapest; I've rarely had anyone pay attention, despite going every day and always requesting table service. The waiters are all good. I recommend keeping prices low, especially for aperitifs, and the owners should always remind the customers of the importance and respect they show, regardless of their spending. Whether at the bar or at the counter. Whether foreign or well-known. Class and respect always pay off in the long run in any management. The interior has been beautifully renovated and cared for by Isabella. The bathroom has improved, much more refined. At lunchtime, the food is generally very good for a reasonable price.

A good choice for a coffee with some accompaniment, or for an afternoon apperol!
