Nice place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, I recommend it. The only flaw, my pizza is as in the photo. Sin. If it happens to me when I make them, I throw them away and make them again. There is a way, all it takes is a little forethought. Applause to the owner, a very kind person.

We eat excellent fish, always fresh, crudités with praise, what can I say, thank you Nello, a great host.

Looking at what the other people at the table with me had, it looked good. I had the spaghetti with clams..... THE BEST SPAGHETTI WITH CLAMS I HAVE EATEN IN MY LIFE!!!! I forgot, which is no small thing. We arrived with 10 minutes to go before the kitchen closed but they made us sit anyway even though there were no customers left at the tables and they could have told us that they were closing by now. Chapeau!

We really enjoy the pizzas here and the service is really quick but the only thing that was annoying was the creme brulee the sugar on the top was not fully blow torched and crispy but overall I would come here again

The service was a bit hectic but friendly. Nice atmosphere. Cheap but very tasty, fresh pizza. Only the topping could have been more lavish. Drinks are rather expensive compared to food. But everything is within reason.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you immediately feel welcome. The team, from the boss to the service staff and the kitchen team, knows how to offer guests a warm and hospitable atmosphere. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Excalibur's cuisine focuses on Sardinian authenticity, with great emphasis on regional and seasonal products. The ingredients are always fresh, which is reflected in every bite. Regardless of whether it is freshly caught fish, homemade pasta or delicious meat dishes - the quality of the products and the attention to detail during preparation are unmistakable. The price-performance ratio in the Excalibur is very good. Both are right here: the high quality of the cuisine and a fair price. Overall, Excalibur is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience Sardinian cuisine at its best. Authentic, fresh and with a great focus on guest satisfaction - we will have fond memories of this restaurant and will definitely visit again on our next stay. Unsere kulinarische Reise begann mit dem Spado Marinato, einer Vorspeise, die nicht nur optisch, sondern auch geschmacklich beeindruckte. Der marinierte Schwertfisch war zart und schmolz förmlich auf der Zunge. Begleitet wurde er von fein geschnittenem Gemüse, das für eine knackige Frische sorgte. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die süß eingelegten roten Zwiebelscheiben, die eine subtile Süße und Säure beisteuerten und so eine harmonische Balance zum Fisch schufen. Als Hauptgang entschieden wir uns für Linguine allo Scoglio, ein Klassiker, der uns ebenfalls begeisterte. Die frischen Meeresfrüchte, darunter Muscheln, Garnelen und Tintenfisch, waren perfekt zubereitet und in einer leichten Tomatensoße serviert, die durch ihre Einfachheit bestach. Jede Muschel war eine kleine Geschmacksexplosion, die die Frische des Meeres förmlich auf den Teller brachte. Die Pasta selbst war al dente, wie es sich gehört, und nahm die Aromen der Soße ideal auf. Jeder Bissen war eine Hommage an die sardische Küste und ließ uns die Nähe zum Meer umso mehr schätzen. Zum Abschluss unseres Abends wählten wir die Creme Catalana, ein Dessert, das an die spanischen Einflüsse auf Sardinien erinnert, aber perfekt in die sardische Küche integriert ist. Die Creme war samtig und luftig, die knusprige Zuckerkruste sorgte für einen Kontrast in Textur und Geschmack. Nicht zu süß, sondern angenehm leicht, rundete sie unser Menü harmonisch ab. Fazit: Das Ristorante Excalibur hat uns nicht nur mit seiner hervorragenden Küche überzeugt, sondern auch mit seinem aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service, der jedem Gast das Gefühl gibt, willkommen zu sein. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die Liebe zum Detail in der Zubereitung waren in jedem Gericht spürbar. Wer nach Castelsardo reist, sollte sich einen Besuch hier nicht entgehen lassen – es ist ein Erlebnis für alle Sinne, das die sardische Lebensfreude und die Frische des Mittelmeers auf den Teller bringt.
