A village bar, Giaglione, located on the road from the mainland of Italy to the Mont Cenis pass, a bar like many others but with a warm, friendly, helpful, and patient welcome. The anchovy sandwich is delicious and worth a meal, the piadinas are well-filled, and the spritz is cheerfully alcoholic.

A typical café. Everything you need is there. A very tasty cappuccino (why can't so many cafés in Germany make this?). Gluten-free cookies in the display case.

Pizza Effe

02/11/2025: We spent 1 week in Monopoli, we had breakfast here every morning. The selection is huge, the service is impeccable. I recommend it to everyone with all my heart.
19/10/2025: The gelato here was quite delicious. The mango flavor especially had a rich, intense flavor, like ripe mango flesh turned directly into gelato. At €3 for a large cup, I think it's reasonably priced for a tourist spot. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi.

03/11/2025: I have to say the pizza is really good; the crust, whether charcoal-baked, multigrain, or regular, is always well-cooked and tasty. The atmosphere is nice, perfect for families or a quick dinner with friends. I can't give you a review of the food other than pizza because I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
18/10/2025: Very good pizzas, perfectly cooked, with a light crust. Prices are reasonable; we paid €18 per person, but you can spend even less (cover charge is €2). The staff is made up of many young, friendly, and helpful people who need experience in the field, so wait times can sometimes be long. Overall, an excellent restaurant with excellent value.
