I had the brioche with pistachio granita... delicious brioche, clearly artisanal, nice and warm thanks to the heated plate that is rarely used in Genoa, and the granita had a perfect consistency, but the sugar completely overpowers the pistachio, which you can't taste at all, and that's a real shame.

Just came for the savoury snacks to take away - aranchini and a few other bits. €4 each but heavy and well filled. Friendly staff.

Don Paolo's granita is a Genoa institution. The typical Sicilian granita, made to perfection. They offer classic flavors, as well as more unusual ones like coffee. The pistachio is definitely among the best.

31/08/2025: Simply legendary. For me, the best in Genoa. An absolute guarantee and a go-to for everything. P.S.: the farinata is the best in Genoa, the desserts are gourmet, and I only eat stockfish at Domenico's. Thank you!
15/07/2025: Had pizzas to take away. The price was good, the pizza dough was too thick for me, hence 3 stars, but the service was friendly and quick.
