03/11/2025: My vegan girlfriend and I came for lunch over the weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a plant-based restaurant in Aosta. I booked through The Fork. The location is beautiful, very quaint, with various shades of green and plants in the paintings and on the walls. We were truly satisfied with the food. We had three first courses: fusilli with red cabbage pesto, rice noodles with vegetables, and a risotto with black rice, pumpkin, and walnuts. All three were delicious. We preferred the first two, but the risotto wasn't bad at all. For our second course, we had the tempeh (topped with a delicious sauce) and a fennel and pear salad. Delicious, the strong, bold flavor of the tempeh and that sauce paired perfectly with the delicate salad on the side. The desserts were also delicious, especially the apple pie. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat in Aosta without animal products!
02/11/2025: Very nice place, but I'd play some background music so I couldn't hear the kitchen conversations. The food was pretty good. I had a vegan burger, but for the price, I expected at least fresh or homemade bread, and the chips were full of oil.
A glass of wine, more like a couple of fingers of excellent but expensive wine.
