The lighting is too bright, the decor very basic, the food is absolutely blooming amazing!!!. The owner is very well travelled and speaks excellent English. He is an excellent host, chatty and interesting but not too imposing. 4 people 1 litre of wine ,6 course tasting menu and complimentary digestives =€135.00 . Excellent value we will definitely be back . Wonderful evening.

I spent the weekend in Borghetto d'Arroscia in super relaxation, between nature walks and refreshing swims in the river! The Bar del Centro was my point of reference where I ate for both dinner and lunch, experimenting with both the cuisine and the pizzas!! Both areas are delicious and gave me an excellent dining experience! The pizza dough is fabulous, kneaded by hand and you can perceive it by its friability and lightness, furthermore the filling is also rich and super tasty! The cuisine is simple, homemade, with healthy and genuine seasonal products! You can opt for the complete menu from starter to dessert, which is also exceptional and homemade, all at a very moderate price! If you are looking for the authenticity of the hinterland I highly recommend you go to the Bar del Centro in Borghetto d'Arroscia!

The home-made cuisine of the host, Antonio, is refined and tasty. I recommend it if you want a typical experience of the Ligurian hinterland. Borghetto d'Arroscia is a village that I often visit to eat well; relax with friends and family; take a cool bath in the river, under a beautiful Roman bridge.
