The atmosphere of the old taverns has fortunately not been lost here. The food is typical Trentino, harking back to when this was a borderland between the Republic of Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Try the bigoli with sardines, and save room for the tiramisu. They don't take reservations. Arrive as soon as they open 7-7:30 PM or later, around 9 PM. Otherwise, it's worth the wait.

Great panini and tipical food. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, especially outdoors. No bookings allowed and it does get busy, no matter the day. So, best to get there at opening time and avoid the queue. Always check out the special of the day, rabbit with mushroom and polenta is out of this world.

Una vera trattoria, come oramai non ne esistono quasi più. Qualità eccellente di tutti i piatti che abbiamo ordinato, menzione speciale per i bigoli con le sarde e la trota, con porzioni che si fa fatica a finire. Camerieri sorridenti e veloci, particolarmente confortevole l'ambiente, con i tavolini parecchio distaccati l'uno dall'altro rispetto a quanto ci si aspetterebbe da una trattoria. È stato emozionante essere lì all'apertura del locale, quando il personale apre contemporaneamente la saracinesca e il portone di legno che da tempo immemore è a guardia della famiglia dei proprietari. 09/09/2025: We had meat. Truly exceptional: both the porcini mushroom tagliata and the mixed grill were perfect in flavor and cooking. The sautéed potatoes were perfect, just like in a cookbook.
