04/09/2025: Lured by the signs about the excellent food, we chose this place out of two at the pass. Let me start by saying that the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We ordered two first courses, gnocchi al fossa and truffle ravioli, and they were delicious. My daughter wanted the grilled meat, but it was sold out, so she opted for the pork shank with potatoes. I don't usually comment even if the food isn't excellent, but the pork shank was dry and tough—one little girl couldn't chew it—and the potatoes were the frozen ones from the bags; fresh ones would have been better. After the first courses, my husband ordered some greens, and I ordered a salad. The lettuce had brown streaks, and the tomatoes and cucumbers were clearly macerated. I don't know if it was from the day before or had been left out for too long with the tomato juice, but I couldn't finish it. I'm not boring; if the salad is from the day before, I don't throw it away, but for €5, I expect the ingredients to be fresh. I agree about the cleanliness of the bathroom... after lunch, I almost threw up because of the smell of urine in the women's bathroom. It's a shame because the place is worth it and the staff was really nice, but is there much room for improvement?
