28/11/2025: A place of perdition for good intentions, because those who enter will be tempted beyond their wildest dreams. I've tried the breakfast several times (to make the sample meaningful), which is a parade of delicious options. Continuing to highlight the winning products by merit, my first choice is La Speciale (coffee-flavored bread with cooked cream and apricots). Whoever thought of adding coffee to the brioche dough should be recognized as a benefactor. Whoever thought of pairing this base with the cooked cream and apricot duo should receive an honor. Second place goes to the brioche with cooked cream. Third place goes to the chocolate financiers, which would fall under the category of tray sins, but are a quick, Michelin-starred breakfast, the perfect companion to coffee. The place also offers savory indulgence (mini pizzas, super sandwiches, assorted savory snacks). Everything can be enjoyed sitting inside or outside overlooking Prato della Valle😍. The only downside...the service isn't very cheerful (it can be worked), but what they serve makes you forget everything. I can't wait to come back 🤩😎
24/10/2025: Yesterday afternoon, October 23, 2025, I visited Pasticceria Tombolato. Even though I was there to shelter from the rain, I could already sense the welcoming and delightful atmosphere of the place, with its flowers, sofas, and a counter filled with countless sweets and pastries of a thousand colors and shapes, so tempting.
But the person who welcomed and served us was also delightful, despite there being fifteen of us. She was kind, witty, and ready to take orders and accommodate everyone. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent. Beautiful mugs and cups. In short, an experience worth repeating more often. Hear, hear, tourists, visitors, and locals, stop by Pasticceria Tombolato for a coffee and a babà.
