Bar Calcagno In Arenzano

Both the Italian and Asian food are excellent, but that's not the reason for this review. What's exceptional is the positive energy this restaurant exudes with its service. The owner and the waiters greet guests warmly, ask if they're alright, provide extremely competent advice on dish selection, and can explain exactly what the guest will be served. Above all, they always have a smile on their faces. In short: the service is on par with the cuisine, something not many restaurants in Europe can claim these days. A truly huge compliment to the entire crew, and especially to Jimmy, who, despite the large number of guests, was able to remember which of the over 70 gins on offer my wife had drunk on her last visit. Bravo, keep up the good work!

best cocktails i've ever had! this place has it all, the staff, the drinks, the food and the value for money i would come back here from austria for the cocktails alone! really a great place and highly recommended ☺️

Loyal customers for years...the best sushi I've ever eaten. Everything is delicious and the guys have a kindness that leaves you speechless.

After we had eaten at an earlier restaurant that unfortunately was very disappointing. We asked if we could have a drink with some bites here. This was also no problem at all and we still got one of the last tables. The service was super nice and is comparable to many star restaurants. Good approach, extra table for my girlfriend's handbag, extremely friendly and nothing was too much. After enjoying a bottle of champagne and some sushi and finally a tiramisu we ended the evening. The sushi is truly delicious, perhaps the best I have had so far. The tiramisu was also highly recommended! Given that we were in Italy, it initially stopped us from eating sushi instead of Italian, but this is really sushi on a different level. Compliments to this establishment!
