The problem with this bar is that they only use 50% of the counter's length, and in the morning it's cramped for breakfast. I recommend removing all the chocolates and sweets from the counter to make room for customers.

I went there with my wife, Leandra, a few days ago. She insisted on taking me because she's coming to Beatrice with her florist friends from the Basilica of San Lorenzo for afternoon aperitifs. I have to say she was right. They were very kind and attentive. They sat us in the cool, airy dining room inside. You'll understand, in these hellish days. We ate very well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I was clearly a tourist when I ordered, but the lady at the bar served me with a smile. The bar was bustling with local customers constantly coming in and leaving, and I could tell it was a popular place. The cleaning staff were also scrubbing the floors, so it seemed like the bar was well-maintained. I didn't realise that the cafe macchiato was a small portion, so I sat down to drink it instead of standing in the bar, but was that a good idea...?
