A pleasant, unexpected discovery Discovered almost by chance during an evening motorcycle ride, cold and hungry, we stumbled upon Botte 40. We didn't have high expectations: we just wanted a quick stop and a bit of relaxation before hitting the road again. We were greeted with great kindness and immediately felt at ease. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and friendly. We ordered two pizzas, a calzone filled with cooked ham, provola, and tomato, and a diavola. As Neapolitans, we know what to look for in a pizza, and while it wasn't the kind of pizza we'd find in childhood, the dough and the quality of the ingredients pleasantly surprised us. Plus, the portions are truly generous. It was an unexpected stop, but it turned out to be a real revelation. We'll definitely be back!

🌟 Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere, but what a missed opportunity! 🌟 We went to Bar Botte 40 attracted by the quiet location and the beautiful natural setting in which it is located — and in fact, the environment is really pleasant: simple, welcoming and perfect for a relaxing break away from the chaos. The staff is kind and helpful, attentive without being intrusive, and ready to satisfy every request with a smile. However, there was a big "but": we ordered a mixed platter, and unfortunately the quality of the products was not up to par with the rest of the experience. The cured meats and cheeses served seemed clearly to come from large-scale distribution: flat flavors, standardized consistency, none of the typical notes of artisanal products. And it's really a shame, especially considering that we are in an area extraordinarily rich in local excellence: between pork butchers, dairies and small zero-mile productions, there would be only the embarrassment of choice to offer a truly memorable, authentic platter, capable of telling the story of the territory. 📌 In summary: ✅ Excellent service ✅ Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere ❌ Disappointing and too "supermarket" cutting board 💡 Advice: enhance the wonderful local products, it would take very little to make the difference. We will gladly return for the welcome and the family atmosphere, hoping for a more territorial turn in the cuisine too.
