Recommended. We stopped for lunch today with friends after a walk in the area. A friendly place, with limited seating inside and the option to eat outside. We were greeted by the friendly and courteous staff, along with our dogs. Excellent dishes, generous portions, served with smiles and kindness. Excellent value.

Excellent food. Courtesy and friendliness complemented by very good dishes. The meat literally melted in your mouth. Everything was excellent. Excellent. Only small point, I dare say, is that €6 for 1/2 liter of bulk wine is objectively a bit high. That said, 5 stars are well deserved. We returned after many years and the new management pleasantly surprised us. For me, it's a yes. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We ate really good traditional food, the prices were super reasonable, and the staff were welcoming! It was an unexpected but positive stop!

26/09/2025: A nice little venue that was quaint inside with attentive staff and the ability to customize pizza toppings. The pizza was only average in my opinion. The toppings just felt like they were placed on top of a bread rather than infused together. The pizza base was thick and I'm used to (and prefer) thin based pizza. It was a pretty light base however . I'm also puzzled why they serve pizza slices and not just circle pizza like traditional ones I'm used to. Overall a decent experience. Btw the salads and fries were great.
10/09/2025: Great service and cuisine—highly recommended. Reservations are recommended, as it gets very busy. 😊

02/05/2025: Sempre una sicurezza. El Mercante non sbaglia mai, da anni lo frequento. Vivamente consiglio una visita. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
07/04/2025: porzioni veramente abbondanti; mi riferisco ai primi dove la porzione per uno puo' essere tranquillamente per 2. ho preso le tagliatelle col sugo di brasato (c'era dentro anche il brasato :) ) e l'aggiunta della cannella era fantastica. anche gli antipasti ottimi. servizio veloce e gentile.
