23/07/2025: This restaurant in Castelleone offers local and seafood specialties. We visited for dinner by reservation. The restaurant has parking, so you can drive right in. Inside, the space is divided into several rooms, all welcoming and pleasant. We ordered an appetizer of culaccia and Russian salad, and another appetizer of warm zucchini with provola cheese: both were very good and well-made! We continued with a portion of tortelli cremaschi and a portion of pappardelle: both were very good, too. Perhaps we would have preferred a little less Parmesan on the tortelli (which are basically sweet, so the Parmesan cheese helps to tone down the sweetness). The portion of pappardelle was truly generous! Finally, we ordered two desserts, which, however, weren't entirely satisfying. One of them, in particular, had a slightly too strong flavor of thickener (or whatever). At the surrounding tables, I saw several orders of fish dishes, a part of the menu we hadn't touched but which would be interesting to explore. The service was a bit slow but very polite and friendly, and the staff were friendly and happy to chat if you wanted. Overall, a very positive experience!
