Bar Ariosto In Ferrara

I find a lot of negative reviews very unfair, especially for the salads: in the one I ate, the products were very fresh, as much or even more than elsewhere in this city; the service was very friendly and fast; no negative points. In addition, the terrace under the arcades is superb. It is a little noisy because of the traffic but you can chat without problems.

I don't understand all the negative comments about the prices. Given the location and the table service, €2 for a coffee doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. Saturday evening I had a truly wonderful coffee, and I complimented the bartender. On Sunday morning, I had breakfast, and everything was fine, but the coffee was noticeably different. Super cute spot! We had aperitivo, and the portion of snacks that were brought to us, was huge! They have both outdoor and indoor sitting, and even though its hot, you can still enjoy the outdoor area because its under the arches of the square. Service was great! They came outside to take our order and delivered fast. Defenetly worth the visit if you are in the area :)

The guys are always very kind and everything is always delicious.

The location is very prestigious: the restaurant is on the ground floor of the historic Palazzo Strozzi-Bevilacqua in Piazza Ariostea. The tables are outside under the porticoes of the Renaissance palace. There's a bar, pastry shop, and ice cream parlor. Prices are high. The interior isn't very clean.
