On a trip to Tuscany, we came across this little corner, almost by chance, that held a big surprise: the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted. During that trip, I tasted the most famous and viral ice creams from Florence, Lucca, Porto Rosso, and Bologna, but I must confess that none surprised me as much as the ones from this place. Small, unpretentious, and located in the picturesque town of Montaioni, this artisanal gelateria is, without a doubt, a hidden gem worth discovering.

The ice cream was delicious! The service was excellent. The atmosphere was less so. We were sitting among elderly locals who were smoking. It didn't help the atmosphere.

Yesterday we visted san Gimignano and tasted Gelateria Dondoli "The world's most famous Gelato 2024" but this Gelato in Montaione is better!! For me "The world's most famous Gelato 2025 :)" I had pistaccio and zabaione, tasty! We will come again.
