03/09/2025: Good food, friendly hosts. Menu in three languages, with the chef explaining what's on offer. Afterwards, a homemade grappa is a must. As is probably quite common at these malgas, you're given a random price, but it was perfectly reasonable. We were there on a Wednesday; it was pretty much the only malga open for miles around. We felt very comfortable.

10/05/2025: I'm a little older, and this must be the 3rd or 4th comment I've stopped to make in my life. Those who are negatively affected by "this experience" do not stop for a moment to reflect that on this mountain hut there are 2 old men in their eighties, who are not there for "business" but for an unusual and rare (true) love for the mountains. If we don't understand that they are alone there, and that they have to do everything (including cleaning), it is better that we go to the "3 panoce" restaurant or any other site. We must understand that it is NOT a restaurant, it is NOT an alpine refuge, it is NOT a trattoria, dairy or mountain hut with commercial management. IT IS A PRIVATE PROPERTY, where two singular and (in some ways..) nice old men intended to spend the twilight of their lives in what should be seen as a refreshment point for "Sunday" hikers. It wouldn't hurt if we remembered that a little patience and respect wouldn't hurt. Please don't enjoy beating me too now. My name is Guido, I am 76 years old and I go up 7-8 times in the not hot season (we reserve the summer for the Dolomites) with my 70 year old wife, from Miet up to Cesil (trenches..) ON FOOT!..
