Ho organizzato la mia festa di laurea in questo locale, che si è rivelato a mio parere il più suggestivo in tutto Trastevere. Lontano dal chiasso, siamo stati accolti con cordialità e gentilezza. I drink speciali sono assolutamente da provare!!! Sembra di trovarsi in un elegante tempio orientale. Il sottofondo di musica jazz è perfetto per creare un’atmosfera unica. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!!

I organized my graduation party in this venue, which in my opinion turned out to be the most evocative in all of Trastevere. Far from the noise, we were welcomed with friendliness and kindness. The special drinks are a must try!!! It seems to be in an elegant oriental temple. The background of jazz music is perfect for creating a unique atmosphere. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!!!

Beautiful and above all unexpected place in the heart of Trastevere.
Upon entering you are catapulted into Thailand.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I recommend the Nasi Goreng and the mandarin tart.
Possibility to spend the after dinner in the "bar" area.
I'm giving 4 stars just because the prices are a bit high and their cocktails have a very particular flavor (attributed to them by the soju).
For the rest it is absolutely a 5.
I had to change my review from 4 to 3 stars as unfortunately the "influencers" managed to ruin this place too. Taken by storm, it has lost all its charm, its peace, the food has gotten worse and the service also leaves something to be desired.

The best thing about Bali Bar is the space. To enter, you have to ring the bell and sometimes wait for someone to answer the door. The entrance is so nondescript it feels like a speakeasy. Once inside, the space is immense, with a beautiful bar/lounge near the entrance and the dining room so far back it surprises you how deep the building goes. The inside feels like a piece of Indonesia somehow perfectly nestled into a 16th century Roman building. It is an escape in every sense from the surrounding neighborhood of Trastevere, delivering Thai and Indonesian classics from a simple menu. If you want to take a break from Italian while spending extended time in Rome, Bali Bar is a crowd pleasing choice. Vegan friendly.

Lots of stars for this place. Very welcoming, typical oriental location, with cushions and tables for an aperitif or after dinner, also featuring a catering area. We ordered the classic sake for a drink (I recommend drinking it hot as it tastes better), accompanied by small tastings including: spring rolls, green papaya salad and corn fritters with saucers of spicy and soy sauce. The guy at the reception is kind and helpful, the lady probably the owner, of Japanese origins, is an explosion of positive energy, always with a smile, welcoming, confidential and kind. The toilets are a bit neglected but of little importance. Excellent price quality. We will definitely try dinner next time. Highly recommended!
