Best Indonesian food in Italy!! 🇮🇹 If you ever go to Rome, come here; the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is super cool.

A beautiful restaurant with an Indonesian ambiance. Not exactly Bali; one room is decorated with shadow puppets from Yogyakarta. The food tastes authentic but lacks heat, although you can add your own chili. The preparation is also somewhat adapted for Europeans. Rendang is usually cooked for a long time in chili, and the meat is dry and tender. Here, it's more tender and juicy, which is what Europeans prefer. It's a shame that the waitress doesn't speak any Indonesian. It's part of the experience to at least be able to greet people in Indonesian.

We spotted this place on Instagram and finally managed to go for dinner. Our expectations were far exceeded! The place is decorated in a traditional Indonesian style. We had two appetizers: eggplant and beef ravioli, both amazing. The eggplant sauce was superb and very heartening. For starters, we had pad thai, which my companion said was excellent, and mie goreng, which took me back to Bali for a moment. Excellent. For dessert, we had Venere rice with crispy cashews and coconut milk; the warm rice paired perfectly with the other ingredients. To accompany dessert, we had a Balinese Colada, not bad, especially considering the creamy sauce. Highly recommended.

Truly excellent Indonesian restaurant! Welcoming and elegant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Perfect for those who want to discover Indonesian cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

The ambiance is lovely, but I must admit I'm disappointed with the overall food experience. The portions were quite small, which was particularly disappointing given the high prices. While the food was decent, it felt rather average compared to other options I've enjoyed. In fact, I've had much better meals and can even prepare a superior Thai green curry from the supermarket. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations especially for the money.

A perfect evening between professionalism and an enchanting atmosphere We chose BaliBar for a business dinner with a group of 20 people and we were thrilled from every point of view. The organization was impeccable: the staff proved to be attentive, friendly and perfectly capable of managing a large group without ever losing their smile or efficiency. The menu is refined and varied, with typical dishes from different countries of Southeast Asia: each course is a journey through authentic flavors, intense aromas and elegant presentations. A cuisine capable of surprising, capable of satisfying both those who love to experiment and those looking for more delicate dishes. A special mention goes to the selection of teas, infusions and herbal teas, truly well-stocked. In addition to the quality of the food and service, what makes this restaurant unique is the atmosphere: the setting is evocative, with attention to detail and soft lighting that creates a perfect context even for a romantic dinner. In fact, while it is ideal for corporate events or evenings with friends, it is also the ideal setting for a special occasion for two. We will definitely be back!

We organized the Indonesian Etnogusto event in November. The place is very nice, the owner is a special person. She welcomed us in the best way, she pampered us and made us taste Indonesian cuisine in all its facets. It was a really nice evening, we are sure that the next Indonesian event will be here again. Semplicemente stupendo, location perfettamente balinese nel cuore di Roma, piatti tipici deliziosi e fedeli, camerieri gentili. Ci torneremo senz’altro.

Quella di marzo è solo l’ultima di molte cene al Bali. Locale delizioso nel cuore di Trastevere con prezzi nella media ed un personale accogliente e disponibile. Ho conosciuto la cucina thailandese grazie al “Bali”, in particolare i Martabak come antipasto e il Pad Thai vegan come primo piatto; non è da meno anche per quanto riguarda i cocktail d’accompagno alla cena; ne ho provati diversi, ma quello che ho preferito è lo Shogin Margarita, un classico margarita con un sentore di zenzero. Ci tornerò senz’altro e lo consiglio vivamente.
