Is there anything more poetic than a place hidden in the alleys of the city? Far from the restlessness of the centre, far from the crowd, far from those ultra-lit windows that show us those damn perfect mannequins. This place is hidden, it has no signs that attract attention, blackboards with the day's proposals thrown in the middle of the street, or that light so strong that it prevents you from noticing it when you pass by. This place is silent and when you casually look into this window you see a cheerful, romantic and lively picture that speaks of a different part of society, the "night owl" - the owner behind the counter prepares his dishes with great care spritz and the people inside are fine, laughing, warm, happy. So we go in, the man with the Spritz sits us down and we start to feel a little happier too. On the menu we discover that there are many vegan proposals and several Venetian cicchetti. We order:😋 • Savory pie: stuffed with mushrooms, courgettes and ham Veg: nice looking pie, full of vegetables and with a crust that hid this vegan ham which gave a particular and pleasant flavour. • Crostini with creamed cod: good and plentiful. • Mixed crostini: crostini made to perfection, crunchy bread, a different cream for each crostini and lots and lots of inventiveness. Good, particular and unique. The best in our opinion was the one with asparagus cream, egg and truffle. • Polentina with Venetian soppressata and radicchio cream: at the beginning you perceive a delicate flavor which increasingly intensifies until the taste buds explode. • Vegan cheeses: they have a very particular consistency, you have to taste them without thinking about the cheeses we usually eat, in short, open your mind and focus on this brownish ball which, without the help of milk, has managed, in its own way, to resemble cheese. Wine: • "Foja tonda: "Foja Tonda in dialect, is a native red grape grown between the provinces of Verona and Trento. Abandoned in the 1960s to obey the needs of the market, it is back in vogue thanks to the passionate work of recovery and valorisation of the Albino Armani winery, still engaged in the genetic improvement of this ancient variety" • Glass of sweet Malvasia accompanied by Venetian biscuits. How can we conclude? We liked it, we felt happy, we drank a good wine and whetted our appetites with their proposals. We had a good time, were warm and tried something different. For us, this place was a bit like: "laughter inside the tunnel of horrors", "platform 9¾" - a place that for a few hours was capable of transforming reality into a sort of enchanted dimension.

07/05/2025: Este es un lugar encantador y hermoso en la ciudad de Rávena. El ambiente, la comida, el servicio es todo excepcional. Tenía la pasta al pomodoro y estaba más que deliciosa, era tan increíble, que volvimos un par de días después. Este es un lugar que no te puedes perder cuando vengas a esta espectacular ciudad!
02/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante. Servizio ottimo e tempi d'attesa coerenti col locale pieno. Prezzi giusti. Ottimo menù. Molta scelta. Oltre al menù alla carta c'è la possibilità di ordinare alcuni "piatti del giorno" consigliati dallo chef. Consigliatissimo

20/06/2025: Typical Romagna trattoria menu, very good homemade pasta. The place is welcoming, simple, elegant and quiet, however the same could not be said for the person who welcomed us. When we asked if we could sit down, we were treated with condescension and snorts, because according to them they must be full. In the end we were offered to sit down, warning us that we would have to wait a bit, but no big deal, because the dishes were well worth the extra wait. If they had told us right away that we would have to wait longer for lunch, we would have accepted immediately and we would have all saved ourselves the embarrassing welcome.
16/03/2025: Good pizza and homemade pasta dishes, medium-low prices. it's worth going there
