Perfect! The beach is very large and very clean, with bars, restrooms, and showers. You can even lounge on the rocks.

Posillipo is a very beautiful place for swimming, but it's inconvenient for the elderly and disabled to go down, and then extremely difficult to go back up if you're no longer very young. You can only go there with a towel and slippers without carrying unnecessary weight. There are no elevators or freight elevators, and parking nearby is impossible; you have to walk or use a scooter or take a taxi.

The sea is not that deep. They have a private beach and public one all in the same place. There are opening and closing hours so you better check it. It is very clean. You also should try kayaking!

It's a small but beautiful beach, and you don't necessarily need to rent loungers and umbrellas, which I think are too expensive at €36 for two loungers and umbrellas. They close at 5 p.m., though.

Part of the beach is paid, part is free. An umbrella with one sunbed cost 18 euros, everyone is lying almost on top of each other. In the free part the sand is wildly dirty, where there is glass and thorns from trees. But I still give it 4 stars, since in principle all the beaches in the city are crap :) The entrance is also wildly difficult to find - on the opposite side from the shore (look for it in the photo)

The beach itself is beautiful with a view of Vesuvius and many beach chairs and umbrellas. Being lucky enough to stay in an Airbnb nearby we can benefit from this beach during closing hours (so private beach with very few people) during this time slot this beach is perfect (no pun intended) but otherwise the beach is crowded and there are too many people. In short if you do not live nearby, this beach is too small and often too busy. If you can have access during closing hours, it is the best beach available

The beach access isn't very intuitive; you have to walk on the side of the buildings away from the sea. The beach is fine, and there's also a bar. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost us €36.

09/03/2026: We made a reservation, arrived a little early, but were seated anyway. However, a waiter, having ascertained that we were there for the pizza and not the restaurant, told us that the reservation was only for the restaurant, not the pizza. He also added that they had "definitely" already told us this over the phone. Of course, that wasn't the case. The owner tells him that's fine, and he approaches, starting with a "quick-quick." He barely gives us time to read and presses us with a pad and pen in his hand. Hearing that two of us are only drinking water, he doesn't even listen to what the others want and leaves... I have to call him back to tell him I wanted a beer. You shouldn't treat people like that because they won't spend €100 each. This behavior doesn't live up to the pizzeria's reputation.
03/02/2026: Elegant retro atmosphere and excellent service. The pizza 🍕 is delicious, I recommend it to everyone.

20/02/2026: I visited Panibottle after watching a YouTube video, and the verdict was absolutely delicious. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and while it's pricier than typical restaurants, it's well worth the price. Of the five restaurants I've tried in Naples, this is my top pick! The pasta with various shrimp and tomatoes is the best.
18/02/2026: I visited here on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, but I highly recommend it if you want a delicious meal and drinks made with fresh ingredients. The vongole pasta was especially delicious. As a side note, as someone who studies fashion design with a minor in clothing studies, I was thrilled to visit and dine at this small neighborhood restaurant frequented by designers like Kiton, Cesare Attolini, Armani, and Calvin Klein. Reservations are required on weekends. The risotto, pasta, and fries pictured here, along with a bottle of wine, sparkling water, and a serving fee, came to around €100-€110. :)
