We originally booked a walk in the vineyard, but due to high rainfall the vineyard expressed We wouldn't get a 5 star experience as all the mud etc, so they gave us a cooking class. The Nonas who ran it where absolutely fabulous, they where so friendly and made your experience feel like yoj where in their own family kitchen. The women who toke us round and explained everything was charming and so helpful. The ground are exquisite and such a mesmerising place. We didn't stay the night so cannot comment on the room, but if they are like the rest of the experience I'm sure they would be outstanding. Highly recommend, perfect experience and a real insight to Italian cooking culture. We feel part of the family.

A magical New Year's Eve amidst the elegance and warmth of Baglio. Staying at Baglio Passofondo for New Year's Eve was an experience that went far beyond a simple vacation. The elegant setting of the property provides a warm welcome from days gone by. The rooms are extremely comfortable and perfectly heated, a cozy nest ideal for winter evenings. The beating heart of the resort is undoubtedly Andrea, the true soul of the house, who, together with the very kind Giovanna, made us feel like guests of honor from the very first moment. The New Year's Eve dinner was exceptional: dishes prepared by Giovanna with a love and care that was evident in every bite. In this place, generosity is not a detail, but the very emblem of the management. Kudos to all the staff: Antonello, Patrizia, Carlo, Graziana, Turi, Grazia, Carmelo, Rosaria, Diego, Bianca.

We stayed just one night at Tenute Baglio Passofondo. The room was super clean, the atmosphere welcoming and warm. Perhaps a few more Christmas decorations would have made the atmosphere even more charming, but overall the experience was very pleasant. We had a small problem with the tub, which was quickly resolved by the very helpful staff who changed our room. Since it was December, we had to wait a bit for the room to get back to the right temperature, but nothing that compromised our stay. The night passed in complete tranquility. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice from their garden, which was truly appreciated.

My husband and I opted for the Sicilian cooking class. It's absolutely fantastic! The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely entertaining – especially since we didn't speak the same language ;-) – It was a truly wonderful and culinarily superb evening. We spent a very nice late afternoon here at a true Sicilian cooking lesson. It was really great all around, everyone was very friendly, we learned a lot making fresh pasta ourselves and all of the food was also delicious. We can fully recommend the course for anyone looking for a true Sicilian cooking experience. Grazie mille!

An absolutely gorgeous setting. The owner, Giovanna, (all the staff) was extremely humble, accommodating and generous. It was a very interactive cooking class in every aspect. As for the food, perfecto, perfectly fantastic. If visiting the area, it is a fabulous experience one should not miss. BRAVO!!
