Baglio Donna Franca In Marsala

We stayed two nights and had a really good time. The tasting menu with a platter was also excellent. I only recommend expanding the breakfast selection, but everything was excellent.

We booked Baglio Donna Franca as our wedding venue for our ceremony and reception party. Paola and her team were welcoming and helpful in offering us an opportunity to create our dream wedding vision across all parts of the venue. Very good communication throughout the process. Room are comfortable for guests to stay in and the sunset views by the pool are mesmerising. They have the most delicious selection of wine from the vineyard which us and many wedding guests have brought back to the UK.

Everything was wonderful, it was a shame the dinner was so slow, it lasted 3 hours.

We had a wonderful time here. The pool had a fantastic view of the sea. We were particularly impressed by the excellent wines from the estate, which were offered at a very reasonable price in the elegant restaurant.

My boyfriend and I took part in a tour of the estate followed by a wine tasting accompanied by local dishes (lunch not included) for €35 per person. It was truly interesting; Paola welcomed us warmly and shared her passion for the place. In addition to the wine, we also purchased some delicious organic products, which we sampled during lunch, all of which were produced by them, directly from the on-site shop. A highly recommended experience.

A wine tasting experience I'll never forget. Everything was perfect: the history, Daniel's stories, the Ansaldi family, the natural wines—everything was beautiful and at the right price. The difference between hard work and passion is clearly noticeable. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back.

A wonderful estate, steeped in history and culture, but the most beautiful thing was meeting the Ansaldis: visionary, humble, kind, and loving. They welcomed us to the estate as if we were at home. The same love and passion was conveyed by Daniel, our guide, who explained to us with knowledge, love, and passion everything there was to know about the wines, the vines, the history, and the family. Congratulations to everyone, and highly recommended.

We visited the winery for a wine tasting, and it was fantastic. The facilities are spectacular, the guided tour very interesting, and the service provided by Daniel was unbeatable. We finished with a swim in the pool. A 10-star experience, highly recommended.

It's hard to put into words, but this is complaining at the highest level. Restaurant: The only explanation for some of the negative reviews is that the operators have made some changes. Personally, I found both the service and the food impeccable. The value for money is more than fair – almost too cheap. If only all restaurants in Sicily were of this standard! Conclusion: Bravo! A hotel and restaurant that I can recommend to my friends with a clear conscience at any time.

Five stars don't do justice to how unique and evocative this place is. After many years of vacationing in Sicily, Baglio Donna Franca has still managed to amaze me with its setting, hospitality, and professionalism. The restaurant deserves special praise: excellent cuisine, authentic local products, and a rich, high-quality menu at a very affordable price. I hope to return next year!
