Baglio Aversa In Castellammare del golfo

Siamo stati a cena con una coppia di amici fidandoci delle recensioni pubblicate. Ottima serata, location rilassante e ben tenuta, cibo ottimo e abbondante, servizio accurato nonostante nel contempo si svolgeva un evento con diversi ospiti. Assolutamente da consigliare e da ritornare.

I was there for a wedding, good food, excellent service and a really beautiful location, the baglio is immersed in the vineyards and the splendor of the Sicilian countryside!

Lunch on May 1st: crowded room, predefined menu (€45 per person). We arrive (7 of us) around 1.00pm and sitting at the booked table we are served with starters around 2.15pm!!!! After a long break (45 minutes) the first courses are served. Another long pause to have the second courses (3.45pm only the meat; the salad after another 15 minutes). Another long wait for dessert/fruit (only 60 minutes). We got up at 5pm!!! I wonder: did we go to lunch or dinner? Maybe the staff was understaffed? Satisfied with the food and the location but not with the rest!!! The following is my further clarification to the owner's response: Hello, I would like to point out that I am not a timekeeper and I don't think I have written inaccuracies but I simply indicated the times of the various courses shown on the photos I took of each dish. So trust me that the timetables are authentic (if you want I can attach the photos with the timetables). I should also point out that I also invited a waiter to speed up the operations and he replied that it wasn't up to him.  I confirm that we got up from the table at 5pm and we were the last guests in the room and I add that the waiters were clearing the other tables. Furthermore, if in the past no one has ever complained about biblical times it does not mean that there cannot be a first time. In any case it was not my intention to fuel sterile controversy but simply to highlight an objective situation.

We have participated in several family events, appreciating the rustic and elegant location, the professional and courteous service and the refined and tasty dishes. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

I celebrated my daughter Matilde's baptism in this enchanting place. Excellent food, from starter to dessert. We were very happy. Impeccable service. I rate it five stars, but if I could I would give more.

Sono stata ieri per la prima volta,location accogliente,ottima cucina,personale qualificato,ma soprattutto simpaticissimi! Torneremo!!
