Could not see the steps because of the crush of people. Especially a lot of young Asian women and their selfie taking routines. What's up with that? Is that a new phenomena? Oh, and also the big hats.

The moment itself is beautiful but tourists insist on sitting on the steps making it difficult to assent despite the warnings not to and the police directing you. Pick pockets operate in this area. We witnessed a lady have her purse and phone stolen from an open bag. Don’t let this put you off, just be sensible. The fountain at the bottom of the steps is spectacular and you can drink from it.

Unfortunately, it's far too crowded. Even though you're not supposed to sit on the steps, people do it. The people who pose specifically for Instagram and other platforms are absolutely awful. If they don't get the right picture right away, they keep taking more photos. You get the feeling that's the only reason they come to Rome.

22/09/2025: I've ordered poke twice. The first time, it was excellent, full, fresh, and delicious! But last night, no, silly, I threw it away. It was all rice, and the salmon was almost non-existent when I added double. Then, while I was eating, I noticed a taste of ammonia, and it wasn't wasabi because I didn't add any. In the end, I threw it away, I was afraid. I'm sorry because I thought I'd tried the best poke here at the castles.
11/08/2025: I placed an order on their website and the delivery time was met to the minute. They're friendly and very professional. We ordered three pokes and I found the quality to be truly excellent.

14/09/2025: The best pizza in Rome and the best cocktails in Italy. Incredible service, they make you feel at home, always with a smile. The food is incredible, from pasta and pizza to meat and fish. But the best, without a doubt, are the homemade and unique cocktails.
08/08/2025: If you’re looking for something different than carbonara, amatriciana o cacio e pepe (although they have all three on the menu), this place is for you. They offer other pasta recipes + fish pizza and other dishes. All delicious, including dessert. The restaurant is very nice, ideal for medium to large groups. Bear in mind that pizza is only served from 18:00 (6:00pm) onwards, not for lunch.
