Excellent food in both quality and flavour
I didn't give 5 stars because the portions are very small and therefore the price is also high:
The "impepata di baccalà" (if I remember the name correctly, the dish with mussels, potato cream and cod) special but with 4 mussels and 2 small pieces of cod for €25

EXCELLENT, tradition and innovation in a very pleasant environment, with an incredible raw material!!!
I have been delighted several times by Vaccalaria, and every time going back is always surprising, from traditional dishes to innovations, a surprising journey and let's face it, also healthy, thanks to the excellent quality basic food.
As a Neapolitan I have rarely found places where cod is treated so well, and I have equally rarely found cod of such high quality that I would go there and return... BRAVI!!!

It's a place I've known for over 7 years and I've always praised it... but today I'm a deep disappointment. Although the ownership has not changed
The restaurant is called Baccalaria but I saw very little of Baccalà in today's dishes. Let's start from the first
Spaghettone with 4 tomatoes and cod (counting 4 small pieces of cod... yes or no 50g total
2 seconds
- Cod fried and then baked. 4 pieces of cod immersed in lots of marinara sauce
- cod parmigiana... just a small piece of cod is scandalous and when I called the owner to point it out he replied "I'll tell the kitchen" and nothing else. Yet the prices have all risen excessively.
What can I say! I hope future customers will be luckier. I will never set foot in a place like this again where customer care is non-existent
By the way, each course costs between 22 and 25 euros... but not even a hint of cod. Happy New Year

Very interesting concept and very well executed, excellent raw materials and great imagination in the preparations. Very kind and elegant staff, the only flaw (which doesn't depend on them anyway) is the parking but it is close to the metro, all things considered.
I will definitely return and recommend to lovers of the genre.

Ha un menù con molti piatti ma non tutti a base di baccalà. È una valida alternativa ai locali tradizionali di terra e a quelli di mare. Il locale ricorda un bistrot è pulito, gradevole, diviso in due salette.
Prendiamo una pasta con ceci e baccalà e un'altra con cavolfiore e baccalà. Entrambi le pietanze sono un comfort food.
A seguire ordiniamo baccalà con scarola ripassata. Buona qualità del pesce peccato per una punta di sale in più.
Locale da ricordare per future passeggiate napoletane.
