In our 11 days in Rome, we went to this restaurant twice. Mostly to confirm its worthiness of a 5 star review. Both times, we had very different dishes. Pasta the first time, lasagne and carbonara. And the second time we had beef and fish. In every respect this restaurant delivered excellent food and service. Authentic Italian service, which you may require knowledge of to understand the charm. We ate outdoors both times, and you are well shielded from both sun and general passers by. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but comfortable enough. It was our first night meal, and our last night meal. Fantastic both times.

Excellent value for money. Plenty of choice on the menu, generous portions, and excellent wines at reasonable prices. The only issue was the temperature of the red wine. It was too warm. This was, of course, resolved by temporarily placing it in a wine cooler, but the wine and the food themselves were delicious!

I really enjoyed the shrimp urizo and seafood tomato stew~ I ate it with fresh kimchi, but it wasn't very kind.

Very nice place with amazingly good looking and delicious food. Surly we'll come back to try their "carbonara". Risotto and pasta with clams was finger licking good!

We had chosen a fish at the counter. I asked for the approximate price. The waiter told us about €35, but we paid €64! Admittedly, fresh fish isn't cheap, but the waiter should have known that €35 wasn't enough. The vegetable side dish—four slices of zucchini and one slice of eggplant—cost €6 per person, which is considerably too much. The real highlight came at the end, with a €12 service charge. The value for money isn't right here, so we can't recommend this restaurant.

The very kind Piero welcomed us as they were closing and we had a wonderful dinner with free limoncello... what can I say, absolutely worth trying!!

20/06/2025: A wonderful discovery! At the Dal Laziale restaurant you can immediately feel the authentic Roman atmosphere: warm welcome, impeccable service and lots of friendliness. The traditional dishes are truly excellent. Even the second courses and side dishes respect the true Roman LAZIALE cuisine generous portions I will definitely be back!
30/04/2025: I was down for work and we stopped there for two amatriciana pastas, a beef tail stew and some meatballs on my head full of bacon and I only had 6 measly pieces but in number, then I take the good meatballs even if in my opinion there was a bit more flavor but in the cold place they were cold, the place looks like a workshop cellar, a slight renovation could be in order

19/09/2025: We were fortunate that our relative recommended this restaurant and glad they did. FYI: be sure to make a reservation. We ordered a full course lunch since it was our honeymoon after a busy day prior. We ordered Negroni and Aperol spritz which was good. Our meatballs and fish croquettes were good. We ordered some pastas. The amatriciana was really good. The orecchiette had some smoked cheese which is ok if you like that. We a great wine with our meal as well. As you can tell, everything is "good" lol so I highly recommend this place. The place overall had a cool, chill vibe to it.
17/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in central Rome. Excellent cuisine, impeccable service thanks to a young and knowledgeable staff led by the legendary Lucia. Excellent wine list. A very welcoming location with outdoor seating in a charming little square. Prices are appropriate for the setting.
