A good restaurant run by a couple.
The restaurant is small and welcoming; the service is attentive and professional, yet relaxed.
The quality-price ratio is very good.
The food is good, with innovative combinations and traditional flavors; it's clear that there's a lot of thought and preparation behind the dishes.
The only weak point for me was perhaps the cooking of the risotto, which was a little undercooked for my personal taste, but that's a more subjective observation; the other elements were spot on: the stock, the creaminess, and the combination of flavors.
A satisfying experience; I'll definitely be back.

A contemporary restaurant, unusual for Livorno. The menu is well-curated, featuring modern dishes with seasonal ingredients and simple, never predictable flavors. 1930s-inspired music plays in the background at a pleasant (low) volume. A very interesting selection of local wines, organic and/or biodynamic, favors new labels and styles (such as the orange wine). The service lives up to the dishes.
I went with friends, all local, but we live in Lyon, Milan, and London. We found Azzighe to be a place we could bring out of town (which I can't say for almost all other restaurants in Livorno).

Had the tasting menu on a family trip to Livorno and it was a highlight of our holiday.
The food was all fantastic, each plate was something quite different but all delicious.
Service was also brilliant, took the time to explain each dish and the wine it was paired with in English which we really appreciated!
Really nice atmosphere too, super chilled and nice decor and bits to look at.
Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Truly a great place! What a lovely surprise! We opted for the tasting menu, a mix of pre-set dishes and chef's surprises! The cuisine combines Livorno's maritime traditions with a very French approach to dining, with dishes worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The fetuccine and the mascarpone-based dessert with savory crumble and wonderful dried porcini mushrooms were particularly popular—a marvel when they melt on your palate. Completing the experience is a carefully selected wine list (many organic and biodynamic wines), a lovely pairing by the glass, and a fair price! Highly recommended, but it's a shame we're so far away and won't be able to return anytime soon! Well done!!!
