I still have to try the restaurant; I often buy cold cuts for my lunch breaks. The staff is super friendly; I feel like part of the family now. The quality of the products is really high, and the roast turkey is top notch. :)

Delicious food and excellent service. The staff treated me very well and were always attentive to the customers, paying attention to everything! They anticipated my needs, which is very rare these days! It was well worth it and I hope to return! It also functions as a bottega, with various types of cheese, pasta, sauces, and cured meats.

I've been to Aventina and loved it: the concept of a shop-turned-restaurant is a winning one, with inviting platters and quality ingredients. The meat is the real highlight, tender and flavorful, but there are also excellent vegetarian options and carefully crafted pasta dishes. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming. Prices are a little high, but consistent with the quality. A must-try if you love good food in Rome.

Excellent wines, and the beef was cooked to perfection

The food is delicious, but the service quality is very sad.. We were one of the first customers even before the kitchen opened (they warned that the kitchen would open in 15-20 minutes), during which time we drank espresso and chose something to eat. After ordering the dishes, we asked how long it would take for the dishes to be ready (they replied that it would be 15-20 minutes again). It suited us, although we had limited time. Apart from the fact that my husband did not get the steak he wanted (they only make 1kg, and we wanted 0.5kg, because 1kg is too much), we both ordered 1 beef tartare and different pasta. Again, closing our eyes to the fact that they brought the dishes that were not intended for us and took them out in 10 seconds (they apologized profusely), we waited longer than they said we would have to wait, and finally got our food. The funniest moment: they bring tartare to my husband, pasta to me 😂 By the time we tasted the tartare, my portion had gotten cold. I managed to eat my cold portion and we still had to wait until they finally brought my husband's portion (again, they apologized profusely for making us wait). I try not to write bad reviews, because everyone has bad days, but when such poor service at every step and such staff make us late to be somewhere else.. I want to warn others, if you only have a good hour to eat, then skip this place, and if you have a lot of time and are lenient with the staff, then the food was really good 🙂
