I only wanted to buy a one-day vignette, but it wasn't available. Apparently, they're only available at the border.

Very nicely located rest area, just before Italy, between the mountains. Access is available for buses, cars, RVs, trucks, etc., making it a bit crowded. The restrooms are okay, which is normal for such a large number of people. Unfortunately, not all of them are clean. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't buy anything there.

I recommend a double espresso at this place. It's small, but only €1.50. I have nasal and sinus problems, and aromas, except for the strongest ones, are unfamiliar to me. In coffee, I usually detect bitterness and basic flavors of milk or sugar. I don't know how they did it, but the espresso was very good. Its aromas penetrated even my olfactory deficits. The second Americano coffee was good and large, but it was just good coffee. Of course, the lines were long. You have to stand in the first one by the sandwich display. You get a receipt and go to the second one with drinks right next to it.

Here you can buy your picnic lunch, wine from Merano, mountain cheese and speck, but also the apples from the Vinschgau region - a great stop!

On the way back, I did a little shopping. Prices were reasonable.
