A true experience, an authentic osteria, hard to find in Trastevere. The expectation must be to eat typical dishes in an informal and lively environment.

GOOD pasta (difficult these days in Trastevere). Honest prices and typical atmosphere of an old-time tavern. When I don't know where to go I choose to come here and I'm on the safe side.

We eat very well. Typical dishes, honest prices and friendly staff. In addition to the pasta, I recommend the meat second courses, very tender meat and very tasty sauce.

Lovely neighborhood trattoria…menu has many typical Roman dishes. No reservations.

Local like it used to be, like the old taverns that are now unobtainable. I had already been to Augustarello many years ago and I returned with pleasure. The environment is spartan, the dishes are those of the Roman tradition, with many different proposals depending on the day of the week, the prices are more than affordable. We were happy with the food and the value for money. For 3 Roman artichokes, 2 pasta and beans, a sausage with beans, a plate of chicory with pecorino cheese, a bottle of water, two baskets of excellent bread and half a liter of house wine we spent 70 euros. Unfortunately, coffee is not served. To be recommended in Trastevere, without too many pretensions.
