A truly unique restaurant. The owner and staff are very helpful and courteous, and the dishes are delicious and prepared with quality ingredients. The restaurant has many charming rooms, furnished with historic yet elegant items. We were pleased with the quality and quantity of the dishes, and were treated like family... Highly recommended!

Three things are needed to be happy here: duck (petto), patience, and duck.

A quaint restaurant on the main road, with many rooms and smaller rooms on various underground levels. Some of the deep rooms are dank and a bit claustrophobic, but they're certainly unique and appealing for those who enjoy a quiet, secluded atmosphere. Traditional Roman dishes are delicious and plentiful.

We were warmly and cordially welcomed by Simone. We first visited his father's art collection, imaginatively displayed in the restaurant's cellars, and then were surprised to discover a selection of vegetables from traditional Roman cuisine. A true taste experience.

Charming atmosphere. Friendly service, although a bit slow on Sundays. The food is quite good, but it seemed less refined than a few years ago. Among the appetizers, I enjoyed the porchetta and onions, but less so the platter. The pappardelle with wild boar was good, especially the pasta. The ragù was a bit tasteless. The most disappointing dish was the rabbit cacciatore: tender but also bland.

I went for lunch (we were six adults) at around 2:00 PM. I ate well, but... I'd like to make a few criticisms: the porchetta and rabbit cacciatore were rightly served with their cooking juices not on plates but on wooden cutting boards, which are definitely not dishwasher safe and therefore deserve a fine. I'd also suggest checking the deli area (where the cash register is), the kitchens, and even the kitchen staff, although I only glimpsed them briefly; I'd also draw a veil over the restrooms. The dining room staff were excellent, helpful, and ready to answer any questions.

Amazing place, excellent service

I don't know where to start with the good review I have for this restaurant. First, the service was really, really kind, they showed us the inside of the restaurant and kindly explained the food and dishes served. Then, he recommended that we go to the restaurant, which is a kind of mysterious and magical place. There is an underground tunnel that you enter from one side of the street and go to the other side of the street. And inside this whole maze there is a huge variety of historical items, just like an antique museum. Look at the pictures. Therefore, the restaurant also combines a special experience unlike any other restaurant. The food is very tasty. I had the pumpkin stuffed with meat. And it is an excellent dish. A pleasure. The pasta and chicken are also excellent. The attitude we received from the waiters was kind and professional. In conclusion, an excellent restaurant, highly recommended. Ambiance et personnel très agréable et aux petits soins. Un beau choix de plats simples et bons. J’ai adore les paccheri à la poire gorgonzola et noix. S’il faut choisir, je recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter.

Che dire , abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno a pranzo in 7 con un bambino piccolo, esperienza fantastica piatti eccellenti e ben presentati ,servizio cortese e sempre attento, location bellissima , le grotte all'interno del locale sono fantastiche. TORNEREMO E COMPLIMENTI
