We visited this restaurant on October 18, 2025, during a visit to Castel Gandolfo. The place is very charming and the atmosphere is pleasant, especially if you want a quiet break after a stroll through the center. We really enjoyed the food: we ordered truly excellent truffle gnocchi, a very unique and tasty wild boar dish served in a pumpkin, and at the end, a dessert with chestnut cream was recommended, which was also very good. We accompanied our meal with wine, and overall, the dining experience was very positive. Unfortunately, something happened when paying that left me perplexed. After asking for the bill inside, I paid without immediately checking the receipt because I trusted it. Only later, as I was leaving the restaurant, did I notice that a bottle of water had been added to the bill that we had never ordered or received. I didn't go back to argue because we were having a great day, so I didn't want to ruin the moment with an argument. However, the situation left me with an unpleasant feeling. The kitchen is definitely worth a visit, but I advise customers to always check the bill before paying.

My partner and I went for Valentine's Day. Excellent dinner, excellent service, and the thing we liked most was eating inside a cave, truly beautiful. If we have the chance again, we will return.

A very interesting restaurant—don't miss the chance to explore the labyrinth leading down to the cellar. However, it feels more like a tourist attraction; while the waiter was exceptionally polite with perfect English, the food and local wine were quite mediocre. It's rather expensive for what it offers, though they did kindly provide a complimentary meal for our baby
