Armida 1905 In

I’ve only written 3 reviews in Rapallo. For those reading this, PLEASE go to the good ones and NOT the single bad one. DON’T make the same mistake I did. Armida 1905 is true to the fresh ingredients they have from their amazing proximity to the Ligurian coast, homey, warm, and most importantly, extremely flavorful. You are taken care of by staff that truly smile because they are happy to be serving delicious food. If you want a no frills, amazingly FOCUSED on simplicity food, then this is the place for you. We had the: Catch of the day - Sea Bass. Grilled to perfection with crisp fresh vegetables. Nothing else needed to be done and it was one of the best fish I’ve ever had. Octopus Ragu with Squid Ink Pasta Special. Balanced, perfect play between the squid ink and octopus which can all typically lead to something too umami. Wine list is local and much preferred. Don’t be scared to go into the glass of the day, because unlike some restaurants, they actually have good wine to serve by the glass. GO HERE AND NOT THE PLACE NEXT DOOR

A wonderful experience! Thanks to the very kind waiter who was able to guide me through the menu and wines and... a fantastic lemon risotto! Well done!

Everything is simply top notch. Except the chairs. PLEASE CHANGE THEM.

Everything was perfect except the seating and the service. Rather slow. Is it worth it? Yes, it was worth the wait.

Excellent!! We had a great meal and very good wines on the menu, a little extra for the fish which was to die for. And the service was perfect.

The food was outstanding, the service very nice. We came back because it was so good and we will come back soon.

A must visit in Rapallo - definitely book! Both the tagliatelle and risotto were phenomenal, rich, creamy and packed with flavour. We had the chocolate orange cake (worth the 15 min wait) and tiramisu for dessert, super indulgent and utterly delicious. The staff were very attentive, polite, and friendly. Thank you ☺️

Food, staff and ambiance..everything here deserves 5 stars! A little gem in the heart of Rapallo!

Pequeño restaurante en una plaza concurrida. Mejor tener reservas; muy pequeño. Vale la pena arreglarlo. Los chefs son Andrea y su esposa, Frederika, asistidos por un pequeño personal. Los platos son inventivos, y excelentes y muchas recetas de la abuela. Artfully presentado también. Hemos estado allí varias veces y nunca nos decepciona. Usted será recibido y excelentemente servido por Robbie, que conoce muy bien los vinos. Este es un restaurante “no te pierdas”. Vamos tan a menudo como podemos cuando estamos en Rapallo.

Complimenti !!!...Cucina con piatti ricercati ed eccellenti. Servizio ottimo e prezzi nella norma. Ci tornerò per degustare anche le altre portate del menù.
