Amazing place in the heart of Trastevere.. great pizza, the one liter beer is what you expect to have.. good service, fair price.. recommend it

Older gentlemen handling the restaurant. Very good and fast service, maybe not the greatest English but no problem. Very good and tasty traditional Italian food. I'll love to come back here again! The meat was superb!

Very dirty. Good Aperol and Carbonara, but average pizza. Unfortunately, the staff rushed us and took away our plates that still had food on them.

Don’t get distracted with these negative reviews. We had such a great time for a table of 7 with 2 kids. The hosts were warm and giving in their own way (older Italians), and the food was traditional. The salmon fettuccine is a MUST TRY.

Il Vicolo di Caruso was a standout in Rome. The wine was excellent and the service was the best we had, warm, generous and truly thoughtful. They even treated the kids to tiramisu and poured the wine with a heavy hand. A perfect mix of hospitality and charm.

A warm welcome from the owner, who is no longer young despite the late hour (10:30 p.m.), for grilled meats and a tiramisu end to the evening offered by the less demonstrative but generous son. A place where the portions are generous and the prices reasonable.

08/08/2025: I've been there for lunch/dinner three times. I must say the quality isn't bad at all for the price. The restaurant is well-maintained, and dinner in the garden is lovely.
19/05/2025: Ottima cucina da pizza, carne pesce, primi "di terra" o di mare: personale molto gentile e disponibile, prezzi più che onesti, ambiente molto familiare e, notate bene, porzioni generosissime, elemento da considerare al momento dell'ordinazione. Consigliatissimo per ogni tipo di occasione.

22/08/2025: Welcoming place, excellent food, reasonable prices, the only thing I was disappointed with was that I was charged for two bruschetta (really excellent by the way) even though the waiter had brought them to my table on his own initiative, offering them to welcome me. I was only disappointed about the appearance, but appearance often weighs more than money, considering I only paid one euro each. In any case, I will be back, and with a bunch of friends 👌👌👌👍👍👍 p.s. It's family-run and you eat with plastic plates and cups... only the cutlery is steel. Tables and benches surrounded by greenery and four-legged friends accompanying the splendid view 🐱🐰
22/07/2025: If you have children it's ideal, unfortunately sometimes it falls into the banal like the bathroom 😭, food is average, however I would go back for the green space and I would rent the barbecue
