Absolutely the best environment and the best place I have ever been in Rome! This place became a second home for me, all the people working in this field deserve a medal, despite all the hard work,they are still smiling. Thank you so so much to Cecilia, Gigi and Daniele! Recommend to everybody if they want to have a unique experience here with all the new drinks and atmosphere 😀

Argot Speakeasy was recommended to us by local industry bartenders at Freni e Frizioni — specifically Sara — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable bar experiences of our time in Rome. From the moment you enter and descend the stunning circular staircase, you feel like you’ve stepped into a hidden world. The basement bar is beautifully designed with moody, timeless décor that truly makes you feel like you’ve time-traveled into a secret, intimate speakeasy. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. What truly elevated our experience, however, was Emanuele. We had the pleasure of meeting Emanuele on just his second day on the job — yet you would never have known it. As someone who owns a bar myself, I pay very close attention to service, timing, awareness, and guest interaction, and Emanuele was exceptional in every way. He was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being scripted, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience. He spoke so proudly about Argot, its cocktail program, and the creativity behind each drink. His enthusiasm felt authentic, not rehearsed — the kind of passion you can’t train, only hire. Over the course of several hours, he checked in thoughtfully, anticipated our needs, and made us feel truly welcome. That level of attentiveness and professionalism is rare, especially so early into a new role, and it speaks volumes about his natural talent and dedication to hospitality. To top it off, Argot also features live music, which is surprisingly rare to find in Rome. The live guitarist was incredible, with a sultry voice that paired perfectly with the red, dim lighting around the stage, creating a sexy, intimate atmosphere that brought the entire room together. Between the cocktails, the live music, the stunning ambiance, and Emanuele's outstanding service, Argot Speakeasy is a must-visit. We will absolutely return on our next trip to Rome — and a big reason why is Emanuele. Five stars all around.

The establishment looks sketchy but it's part of the vibe! The place was cozy with fun decor and service was great. The drinks were unique and some of the drinks were in unique glassware. I definitely would recommend as the staff was friendly and fun.

Daniele and Chachia our bartenders were so amazing. The level of craftsmanship is so expert, would def come back. One of my favorite speakeasies in Rome, I prefer this to Jerry Thomas

A well-designed speakeasy bar with exciting drinks and an eye for detail. The service is attentive, and the bar staff even accommodates special requests not listed on the menu. My only complaint is that the drinks menu was digital, accessed via QR code. A traditional menu would have suited the overall concept better. Special praise goes to the doorman – a very friendly person!

Beautiful place, excellent atmosphere and very good service

Very cool cocktails, delicious, and atmospheric. To get in you have to knock on the door because it was closed. But it's cool. I recommend it
