We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on the evening of Ferragosto (August 15th) and couldn't have made a better choice. The freshest, highest-quality ingredients and unique combinations of flavors and aromas. To round out our excellent dinner, we sampled their delicious amaro liqueurs... truly delicious. And how could we not mention the hospitality, kindness, and professionalism of Salvo and his staff? Sama in Marzamemi is the best... we'll definitely be back!

A raw fish appetizer, a first course, water, and a glass of wine were €85 (I was alone). It's up to you to make up your own minds. Honestly, since it's not the only place to eat fish in Marzamemi, I wouldn't recommend it.

The fish was fresh, I paid a lot but the quantity left much to be desired, I had ordered a round of buoy which included cockles, oysters and prawns etc. at least they should have told me that the cockles were finished or I don't know what, they added their own things to their liking, I will go there, I will recommend it, I would say no, sorry

Pros: - Nice atmosphere with a sea view. - Immediate welcome with water and bread. Cons: - Extremely long wait for two appetizers (octopus and tartare), almost an hour. - Appetizers and first courses served at the same time. - Pasta courses served cold. We probably had an unlucky evening; the restaurant itself seems decent.

Whenever I come to Sicily, I always come back here because Salvo and Mara are a guarantee of friendliness, warmth, and quality! In addition to the raw fish, which has always been top-notch and which I eat only here, this year they've introduced some great new first courses, especially the savory tuppo with guacamole and tuna tartare...created by Salvo and simply FABULOUS!!!

01/08/2025: I've been going to this little restaurant with my partner for at least 10 years. The food is excellent, the staff are incredibly helpful and incredibly kind, the salmon is always delicious, and there's a wide variety of both raw and cooked dishes. Be wary of those who leave negative one- or two-star reviews. It's shameful; they shop at LIDL and judge the work of others. Obviously, spending little and eating quality is something everyone enjoys. PS: I've never had a problem with the food at this restaurant. The quality is excellent. After so many years, we've grown very confident, and we'd be remiss if we changed places for unreliable ones! We've also grown fond of the owners, who always treat us with respect. In my opinion, it's an excellent restaurant. Small and intimate, with ample free parking. I'll continue to go there.
