I ate here with three friends despite the idea that restaurants in the center of Sestri are now mostly tourist traps. That idea was quickly dispelled by the friendliness and warmth of the owner and waiters, as well as the excellent flavor of the dishes. The testaroli, which I tried with the original pesto, were truly excellent. Furthermore, the other first courses, second courses, and desserts were also of high quality. Perhaps the only thing I wouldn't order again were the meatballs, which were good but lacked something... in their defense, the accompanying sauce was superb. The price was reasonable for the amount we ate, and we left feeling quite full. Highly recommended!

Se volete assaggiare il vero pesto e tutte le sue varianti, questo è il posto dove dovete venire. Sergio vi spiega ogni tipo di pesto (è presente anche un pesto vegano) e dà anche la scelta fra trofie normali, al nero di seppia o di castagne, bisogna per forza tornare per assaggiarli tutti!

Abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante nel centro di Sestri Levante: ottima accoglienza e disponibilità da parte del personale. Sergio ci ha seguito con attenzione durante tutta la cena, dove abbiamo degustato il menù della tradizione.
Tutto molto buono e abbondante, con amaro offerto alla fine. Da provare!
