30/07/2024: Pearl on our route. We were looking for a restaurant and not an upgraded pizzeria. We found it in the middle of Penia, directly opposite the lift. Being crazy Dutch people, we of course arrived way too early for the 'real' food, but the waiter (and I think also the owner to be honest) was the friendliest to speak to us. As it turned out, from 5:00 PM only pizza and from 6:30 PM we could order other food. After some deliberation (the children were already hungry...) we decided to sit on the terrace and have a drink until it was time. There was something to nibble on with the food and he had the children with it in no time 😜. extensive choice of food, superb. My wife had a delicious entrecote, I have never had them that big in the Netherlands, the Wienerschnitzel (I immediately regretted seeing the entrecote) was also very tasty! Children ate tasty pasta. An extra point: the rare entrecote was also rare instead of the catering rare (which is actually medium). We had a very nice meal and then returned with the last bus. We would love to come back here!
