The classic snowflake is good, the other desserts are decent, but it's unacceptable that in July a company with an annual turnover of €3.5 million doesn't provide air conditioning in its premises, not so much for the customers as for the employees and even for the desserts, which indeed suffer.

The snowflakes are amazing, they melt in your mouth; both the classic ones and the chocolate ones are delicious. The owner is very nice, even if he's always busy, which is definitely not a given.

Pasticceria Poppella, founded in the Sanità neighborhood and now with several locations around the city, is an almost obligatory stop in Naples: its fiocco di neve (a soft brioche filled with ricotta cream, cream, and vanilla) has become a true Neapolitan cult, selling for one euro and conquering the entire Campania region. The products taste fresh and high-quality, with intense flavors that hit you at first bite, and in addition to the classic fiocco, the pistachio, chocolate, sfogliatelle, and babà versions are worth trying. The waits are long, but the line is well-organized; the only downside is the inconsistent service: friendly for some, aloof for others. A pastry shop that knows its stuff when it comes to desserts, with some room for improvement on the personal side.
