After a good 20 years, I returned to the Antico Frantoio pizzeria and restaurant in Sorrento, and I was thrilled: seeing this place again brought back distant memories, yet with the same magic of yesteryear. Upon arrival, the first thing that strikes you is the spectacular view of the Sorrento coast: dining al fresco, gazing out over the sea and the sunset sky, is an experience that will remain etched in your heart. The cuisine did not disappoint: authentic dishes, carefully prepared, and a truly delicious pizza, fragrant and well-seasoned, reaffirming Neapolitan tradition. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic: in the summer, the terrace offers unique views, while in the winter, you can sit inside, where two rooms invite you to enjoy a different yet equally evocative experience. One of these is particularly charming, with old, rustic-style olive oil mills that tell the story and tradition of the place, creating a warm and characteristic atmosphere. The only small detail worth mentioning concerns access: the entrance ramp is quite steep and can be a bit challenging for low-slung cars. Once you've negotiated this short stretch, however, you enter a place that's well worth the visit. Returning to the Antico Frantoio was like reuniting with an old friend: the same warmth, the same beauty, the same authenticity. A place I recommend to anyone who wants more than just a dinner, but a true experience of good food, tradition, and a dreamlike view.

Very nice restaurant with an amazing view of Sorrento. Especially dinner by the sunset colors would be impressive. The place is very wide with open terrace and indoor. The restaurant is big but if you want to take a seat by the view, it is better to reserve in advance. As I observe, it is popular by locals. The food were very delicious: gnocchi, risotto with lemon and caponata. Highly recommended.

On the recommendation of the hotel where I was staying, I came to this splendid restaurant. The entrance is a bit tricky given the very steep climb, but the view is breathtaking and romantic. The fried food is delicious, and the pizza is light and tasty. The service is fast and courteous. Prices are average.

It's worth it! Super home-cooked food. Authentic flavors made at home! Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic meal here. Had the rib eye steak which was massive. Shared with my partner. Cooked to our liking on a hot plate. Also had the tiramisu which was home made and delicious. Good price also compared To eating in central sorrento. Would highly recommend

My 3 friends and I wanted to do a cooking class last minute and this turned out to be the highlight of our whole trip. The second we arrived at the restaurant we felt so welcomed and had such an amazing experience. We did the cooking class with Claudio and he was so fun and thoughtful and took such amazing care of us. He made us feel so safe and had all the ingredients prepared for us and made it such a once in a lifetime experience for me and my friends. All the employees at the restaurant were so nice and made us feel so welcome. The view in the restaurant was so special and the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. We can not recommend this place enough for friends, family, parties, etc. It was amazing!!!!
