The food didn't look very good but the pesto sauce was amazing

Simple focaccia with onions, delicious and really light, you can also add pesto at the moment. The cheese focaccias are also good. Average prices and friendly service.

Probably the best focaccia in Genoa, and there are many places that make it good. The vegetable pies are also good, the brioches are excellent, they are quick to serve, to the full satisfaction of the taste buds. I've never had bread, so I won't comment. Everything is very Genoese, including the welcome: not rude, but rude and of few words. I think they deservedly ended up in some foreign guide, because it is often full of tourists. Who are treated badly, exactly like the Genoese. Long live the Casana oven!

Excellent gastronomy especially for Genoese specialties

Can you give more than 5 stars? Were there twice. Brioche very good. Focaccia wonderful. We ate a piece with pesto Genovese on site (actually two pieces each). ,Delicious'. You can watch how the owner makes the focaccia. A clear recommendation, also because we paid less for a large piece of focaccia with pesto than for a small bite on the tourist streets. The owner was very friendly and recognized us the second time. All respect to the many customers.
