Antico Colle In Buggiano

we had dinner last Friday, the staff was very kind and polite, the place was very quiet and characteristic, I would even say reserved. The food is very good and typical of the place. I recommend it.

Serata splendida come sempre da Andrea e Linda con piatti semplici con accostamenti particolari ben riusciti…pizza accompagnata da un ottima birra ambrata e per terminare con tiramisù casalingo e grappa barricata a dir poco fantastici..rapporto qualità prezzo secondo me ottimo …vale la pena venirci sia in inverno che d’estate dove si mangia nella piazza centrale di questo piccolo ma tipico borgo toscano ..

A real gem! Family owned and operated, mostly frequented by local residents not tourists, located in the small Village of Colle di Buggiano. Happened to be near the Agriturismo that we were staying but we would seek it out knowing how great it is on so many levels. So good in fact that we went twice during our four nights in the region! The restaurant is small and cozy, very little english spoken here so the communication was great fun. Late night pizza and desert was our first experience. The pizza was good but the deserts made by Grandpa were to die for! We also experienced the bar the family also owns and operates across the street which was great fun as a large group young local residents were there for food and drink celebrating an 18th birthday.

The food is excellent, I would have given 5 stars, but, unfortunately, the "dining room manager" treats his collaborators in a truly rude and inappropriate manner in front of the customers. Sin.
