If you're looking for the true essence of Tuscan cuisine—rich in flavors, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a touch of magic—Trattoria Antico Colle is a must-see. Located in the charming town of Colle di Buggiano, the venue welcomes you with the timeless charm of ancient stone structures, beamed ceilings, and a rustic atmosphere enhanced by thoughtful details (the Christmas decorations are beautiful!). The Peposo con Polenta is simply extraordinary. The tender and flavorful meat pairs perfectly with the creamy polenta, creating Tuscan comfort food of the highest caliber. The service is courteous and makes you feel immediately at home, surrounded by the warmth of the wood and the history that permeates every room. A big hug to Chef Andrea and his family!!!

We stopped in for pizza in the days before Christmas, and luckily it wasn't too crowded.
We shared a bruschetta as an appetizer, to keep things light. The pizzas were good, as always, with a good variety of choices, and the new additions added flavor...
A slice of cake, a coffee, and a couple of hours of conversation in good company—what more could you want?
Efficient and courteous service; the girl who served us was always smiling and helpful, making us want to come back...

Beautiful place with a beautiful view, the square is large, the streets are beautiful, and the church of San Lorenzo and the small church of San Giovanni are beautiful. But let's go back to the Antico Colle pizzeria restaurant. The place is clean and the restrooms are clean. The staff and owner are very friendly, kind, professional, and easy-going. The starters are delicious, traditional Tuscan, exceptional. The first courses are very fresh fish, the first courses of meat are also delicious, such as egg tagliolini with fresh porcini mushrooms, and what can I say about the baked pasta with béchamel sauce, cooked porcini mushrooms and chanterelles, or how delicious. The second courses are also good, grilled meat, which along the streets of the Colle make your mouth water. The pizzas are also exceptional, especially the one with porcini mushrooms when they are available, or even Napoli, or if not, the one from Antico Colle deserves 5 stars, but be careful what you order because the price goes from medium to very high, for example, a pizza with truffle, the waitress will bring it to the table whole, but it is not mentioned that it was created in the kitchen, so someone might think that it is included with the pizza, as happened to my friends who paid more than 40.00 euros. pizza .

When everything tastes so good, you don't know where to begin! Superb appetizers, second-rate first courses, spectacular meats, and desserts that make you want to try everything. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Don't miss it!

I entered this restaurant as a simple, hungry human being, and left as a devotee of the cult of pappardelle with wild boar. Guys, they weren't just pappardelle: they were soft carpets of happiness dancing in the sauce like Tuscan nymphs. The wild boar, tender yet determined, whispered in my ear that life still has meaning.
And then... the two ladies in the dining room! A perfect mix of Swiss efficiency and Tuscan charm.
In short: come here. Not out of hunger, but out of faith. Pappardelle with wild boar isn't something you eat, it's something you experience. 🐗

I ate simply there but the pasta with mushrooms was absolutely perfect. Followed by cod in tomato sauce which was equally good. The wine is always served too warm but a bucket of fresh water does the trick to bring the wines to the right temperature.
