Antico Borgo In Cremona

Tried during the murder mystery dinner. The place has a pleasant appearance, but more like a modern restaurant than a trattoria; the adjacent bar, however, has a more rustic appearance. The aperitif at the bar is good and varied. The organization of the crime dinner could be improved a little, in particular for the initial wait of about 1 hour, compared to what was requested. For the rest, however, the timing seemed well managed. The thing that convinced me the least, however, was the food. The potato pie was a little dark; the risotto with radicchio and scamorza was a little too al dente (the grains were hard inside), but at the same time too thick. The pork neck was slightly stringy and many of the baked potatoes were blackened. Undoubtedly, the fact of having a fixed menu will have had its influence; it would be worth trying as an à la carte restaurant, to have a more truthful situation.

We went to the murder mystery dinner in Cannes on January 25th. They let us arrive at 8pm because the show was supposed to start at 8.30pm which then started well after 9pm. The crime is told by three interpreters, two women and one man, quite engaging but nothing spectacular perhaps because I was expecting a bit of entertainment. The fixed menu dinner wasn't that great: a starter of normal cured meats and a slightly sad potato pie, risotto with radicchio and scamorza was good, but it was a shame that the rice was a little too al dente, the second course was a rather high slice of capocollo with baked potatoes, decent. I give three stars with confidence, menu to be reviewed and/or improved. Overall a pleasant evening.

A last minute without reservation. Very kind to welcome us anyway without waiting. Very rich menu of local and non-local specialties. The mixed cold cuts platter is excellent. The risottos are spectacular (we took the encore gorgonzola and pears + pumpkin and taleggio). Grand finale with mixed boiled meat with mustard (obviously) and green sauce: everything was delicious! We finish with bargnolino and liquorice. What can I say... beyond expectations and extra-kind staff! Well done girls… I vote “die”! Until next time.

We've been to eat twice and had an excellent time, from the fast service to the food which is delicious. We took a tuna tartare with mustard as a starter and two risottos, one with pumpkin with bacon and taleggio, the other with mushrooms and truffle scent, and they were exquisite. Finally we had a tiramisu and the pistachio and chocolate semifreddo, both delicious, accompanied with a glass of Malvasia passito

This time unfortunately the meat is nice looking but tough.

Very nice and welcoming location, helpful and professional staff. I waited just long to receive the menu, order, drinks and dishes at the table. Nice dishes and generous portions. Very close to the highway exit. I will definitely return.

All very good and excellent quality/price. But put 2 or 3 more waiters because the waitress who served us took orders, brought dishes, ran the cash register, ran the counter, prepared the drinks, cleared the tables, welcomed and then???

Locale molto accogliente dove abbiamo organizzato un pranzo tra amici. Ci è stato proposto un menù a base di piatti cremonesi. Ottimo il salame, buonissimi i 2 risotti che ci hanno servito, marubini con brodo di alto livello. Il secondo di bolliti misti lo consiglio vivamente. Per concludere un gustoso semifreddo al torrone di Cremona. Personale molto gentile e professionale. Consigliatissimo!!!!

In occasione dell'evento 'Cena con delitto' andiamo per la prima volta in questo ristorante. Il locale è carino ben rimodernato con due sale,anzi tre perché una è occupata dal bar. In una delle sale è stata organizzata la serata con gli attori che intrattengono gli ospiti. Non entro in merito all'evento ma al cibo e servizio del ristorante. Il menù previsto era fisso ad un prezzo che comprendeva anche l'intrattenimento. Antipasto decente due fette di salame,un tortino di patate e due fette di fiocchetto. Il risotto al radicchio a seguire piuttosto insipido. C'era poi un piatto di carne tipo brasato con patate molto casalingo nella preparazione e nell'impiattamento. Il servizio,spero per la fretta di servire, è stato approssimativo e poco attento. Ad un tavolo si servono sempre e comunque prima i bambini e le donne e non si chiede di raccogliere i piatti agli ospiti. Aggiungo che per gli spazi a disposizione la location mal si è prestata all'evento.
